Jonas Valančiūnas supplied his ideas on the rising development of naturalized gamers becoming a member of nationwide groups, a subject of accelerating debate in worldwide basketball. A latest rumor was that Los Angeles Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell was thinking about becoming a member of Lithuania’s nationwide workforce. Valančiūnas emphasized the need for a connection to the country to participate with any national team. “They’re going to take me! [Laughs] I’m joking. Honestly, I don’t have much of an opinion about teams hunting for players. A nationwide workforce is a nationwide workforce — you want roots, a connection to the nation.
