Somebody has been fired days after the Michigan-Ohio State sport, and it’s not Ryan Day.
The Wolverines introduced on Tuesday that offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell has been fired. Head coach Sherrone Moore issued a statement in regards to the choice to dump Campbell, by way of Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press.
“After a radical evaluation of our offense, I made the choice to alleviate Kirk Campbell of his duties and transfer in a special course. This was a choice that I felt was in one of the best curiosity of our soccer program,” Moore wrote in an announcement. “I wish to thank Kirk for his onerous work and dedication to the college, Michigan Soccer and our student-athletes. I want him properly in his future teaching endeavors.”
Campbell, 38, had been with Michigan since 2022.
