I feel that’s what Pat Riley was referring to when he mentioned one thing alongside the traces of, “Should you’re not taking part in, you most likely ought to keep quiet.” Clearly, that rubbed Jimmy the mistaken method. He felt like these feedback took issues too far. Each side acknowledged the necessity for a face-to-face assembly to clear the air after all the things that occurred. Jimmy was beneath the belief that Pat was going to go to him through the offseason at his place in San Diego. Jimmy even advised him about it, however that assembly by no means materialized. Pat by no means went on the market. There was no communication—no texts, no phone calls, no face-to-face meetings—until January 1, when the Heat brought Jimmy into the office. At that meeting, they questioned his effort, suggesting they didn’t think he was giving his all.
