DeVante Parker revealed to Adam Schefter of ESPN on Monday that he has determined to retire from the NFL. Parker, a father of 4, stated that the time has come for him to spend extra time along with his household.
“I need to see my children, spend high quality time with them,” Parker was quoted as saying. “I need to be there for them each time I can.
“I’m simply going to take issues slowly,” added Parker about his future, noting that he has no definitive skilled plans within the quick time period.
Parker, 31, was taken by the Miami Dolphins within the first spherical of the 2015 NFL Draft (No. 14 general) and spent the primary seven seasons of his profession with them.
