Washington Commanders tight finish Zach Ertz on Thursday addressed his confrontation with Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni following Sunday’s recreation.
Ertz and Sirianni had some type of trade after shaking palms following Washington’s 36-33 win on Sunday. Stories advised that Eagles safety had to separate the two, with video of the confrontation largely confirming that account.
Ertz was the primary to handle the problem on Thursday, and he downplayed the incident. The tight finish stated it was the product of two aggressive folks coming into contact, and that he has no issues together with his former head coach.
“I’m not likely going to get into the specifics. Simply two folks that actually like to compete, I’d say,” Ertz instructed reporters. “Nick and I had a terrific relationship after I was there. We nonetheless have a terrific relationship. I believe it’s positively been blown means out of proportion. We spoke. We’re good. There’s no ailing emotions on my half, and I don’t assume there’s any ailing emotions on his half. It’s simply one thing, within the warmth of the second, most likely bought blown out of proportion.”
