The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Justin Edwards to an ordinary NBA contract.
After signing a two-way contract on July 4, 2024, Edwards has appeared in 22 video games for the 76ers, averaging 8.1 factors on 46.9-percent capturing (37.5% 3FG), 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He has scored in double figures eight occasions this season – seven of which have come over the past 14 contests – together with a career-high 25-point efficiency on 9-of-16 capturing (4-9 3FG) towards Oklahoma Metropolis on Jan. 14 in 35 reserve minutes. Edwards is considered one of six rookies within the NBA this season to have reached the 25-point mark off the bench.
Edwards has began every of Philadelphia’s final seven video games, averaging 10.3 factors on 48.2-percent capturing (42.9% 3FG), 3.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 steals in 31.5 minutes per contest.
Previous to the NBA, Edwards spent one season on the College of Kentucky, the place he averaged 8.8 factors and three.4 rebounds in 32 video games.
